Aims and Strategic Objectives

All our efforts are specially focused on the development of rural: women, children and youth who are deprived and considered as down trodden segments, by promoting literacy & education, providing agriculture, health & hygiene facilities, conducting capacity development trainings, creating seminars, workshops & meetings. WHTO is mostly focused on education and agriculture.

 Some of our Core/ Focus Areas of Work which we have already worked in;

 ·         Vocational training to people living in remote areas including tailoring courses to women and girls.

·         Distribution of different income-generating equipment such as tailoring machines, dairy machines, cultivating machines and etc, especially to women and girls in remote areas.

·         Distribution of fertilizers and modified seeds to farmers in remote areas so they can have better crop production leading to higher incoming and increase in the quality of their life.

·         Planting of trees for protecting and development environment in different areas of Logar province.

·         Assistance to medical center located in remote areas so they can help in avoiding diseases spreads among people in concerned community. 

·         Cash distribution to sick people of Nahib Aminullah Khan Logari hospital to help them pay for their medicines.

·         Humanitarian assistance to people affected from floods in Khoshi district of Logar province.

·         Assisted forced deportees from Pakistan in Jalalabd province.

·         To co-operate and assist in suitable joint venture with the governmental Organizations and agencies seeking the goal of redressing poverty and improving health status of common people or relief and rehabilitation of Afghanistan.

·         Women empowerment organizing, mobilizing, developing capacity and skills and creating provision of inclusion in decision making process in family and community enabling them to become economically and socially independent.

·         To print or publish periodical magazines, books, pamphlets, leaflets or booklets that the WHTO may considered desirable or helpful in the promotion of its objectives.
