Being a practical advocate for women at grass root level, we assist and improve women role. Strengthening women’s life socially and raising their educational level, promoting their health in order to enable them to re discover their possibilities and gain faith in future. Establishment of safe working environment for women & children without any discrimination & violence, financial sustainability of marginalized groups of women and participation and representation of women in all major areas. The WHTO organization has extensive capacity and capabilities to implement the following program/projects;

A qualified, trustable and standard organization, that contributes in social, cultural and economic rehabilitation in Afghanistan, through providing basic services in livelihoods, women empowerment, literacy and educational services, civil society strengthening, health, agriculture.

ACCOUNTS AND AUDIT

WHTO maintains its all accounts on double entry system. Organization has developed various financial policies, systems and formats etc. which help it in effective management of all its funds and maintaining a complete transparency in receipts and payments at all levels. WHTO gets its accounts (receipts and payments) audited by the recognized chartered accountants’ firms on the completion of projects or by the end of each financial year.

About Us WHTO is a social, non-political and not for profit organization, registered with Ministry of Economy, NGOs Department, Government of Afghanistan under registration number of 5822 , dated June 03, 2023.   CEO Message WHTO is headed by Mr. Sayed Farhad Akbari who is well known Afghan national for his services in Logar and Kabul . Mr. Akbari is graduated from Political Faculty of Sayed Jamaluddin Afghan University in 2012.  After completion of his studies, he served as a civil activist in Logar and Kabul for many years – mostly raising awareness level of the people living in remote areas of the mention provinces. Through his activities during this time, he managed to better understand the most challenging issues people faces in rural areas of the country.    Aims and Strategic Objectives All our efforts are specially focused on the development of rural: women, children and youth who are deprived and considered as down trodden segments, by promoting literacy & education, providing agriculture, health & hygiene facilities, conducting capacity development trainings, creating seminars, workshops & meetings.
